Emotional disorders as a consequence of brain damage and possibilites of psychotherapy

This Bachelor's thesis describes in short manner types of brain lesions and with regard to the mechanism and location of the lesions summarizes findings/conclusions of studies aimed on types and character of emotional disorders such as depression, anxiety, emotional instability, increased irritability and emotional flattening caused by such lesions. It takes into an account the practical aspects of the treatment of the patients with such conditions such as psychotherapy or intervention programs. In research part, the thesis proposes a form of intervention program for patients inspired by current literature focused on awareness, communication and regulation of emotion.
